Nehru Centre, Mumbai, is a prominent cultural complex established to promote education, science, and the performing arts while reflecting the ideals of Jawaharlal Nehru. Conceived in 1972 and completed in 1985, the center stands on a six-acre site in Worli and was designed by architect I. M. Kadri. The center houses a 1,000-seat auditorium, making it a key venue for music concerts, dance performances, theater productions, lectures, and conferences.
