Nanji Family Foundation Auditorium

Founded by entrepreneur Pyarali Nanji (1929–2025), a Member of the Order of Canada and founder of Belle-Pak, and Gulshan Nanji (d. 2026), the foundation reflects a legacy shaped by migration, resilience, and civic responsibility. Over five decades, it has focused on long-term, infrastructure-based philanthropy rather than short-term grants, often supporting specialized medical centers and educational institutions with transformative funding.

Healthcare remains a core pillar, particularly in Ontario, where the foundation’s contributions have strengthened emergency care, stroke treatment, and kidney services. Its record-setting donation to Seneca Polytechnic expanded nursing education capacity, addressing workforce needs in Canada’s healthcare system.

In the cultural sector, its multi-million-dollar support to the Aga Khan Museum marked the largest arts grant in the foundation’s history, underscoring its commitment to intercultural dialogue and heritage preservation.

The foundation continues to be directed by the Nanji family’s next generation, including Azim Nanji and Nimi Nanji-Simard, maintaining its focus on education, healthcare access, and global humanitarian support.
