Raga Fellowship Foundation

Established in Toronto, Canada, in 2018, the Raga Fellowship Foundation (TRFF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to preserving and promoting Hindustani classical music in its most authentic form. Conceived by the renowned sarod maestro Arnab Chakrabarty, the foundation operates as a bridge between traditional Indian pedagogy and an international audience. While it started with a focus on music education in North America, it has since expanded into a centre for high-quality concert production and scholarship in India, with a dedicated operational base in New Delhi. 

Mission & Philosophy 

The foundation’s core mantra is "Music for the Sake of Art, Minus the Razzmatazz". In an era of shrinking attention spans, RFF serves as a guardian of Ragas's "inward-looking" nature.

Leadership 

Arnab Chakrabarty (Founding Director): A leading sarod virtuoso of the Shahjahanpur Gharana and a scholar of the Senia-Maihar tradition. His vision drives the foundation's uncompromising standards.
