Dedhia Music Foundation

Dedhia Music Foundation (DMF) is an Indian non-profit cultural organization focused on the promotion, preservation, and global outreach of Hindustani classical music. The foundation works to create a sustainable ecosystem where artists, students, and music enthusiasts can connect through performances, educational initiatives, and digital engagement.

One of the foundation’s key areas of work involves organizing live classical music concerts and curated events featuring leading musicians and emerging artists. Through these performances, DMF provides platforms where audiences can experience Hindustani classical music in traditional concert settings while supporting the livelihoods and visibility of artists.

In addition to live performances, the foundation is actively developing a digital archive of Hindustani classical music, capturing performances and presenting them to wider global audiences. DMF also supports emerging musicians through mentorship initiatives and competitions such as Yuva Sur Sartaj (YSS), helping younger artists gain exposure and professional opportunities.
