Samarpan

Samarpan is a composition by Indian slide guitarist and composer Debashish Bhattacharya, featured as the third track on his 2009 studio album O Shakuntala! Released on July 13, 2009 by Riverboat Records, the album adopted a CD format and showcased Bhattacharya’s fusion of Hindustani classical music with contemporary world music elements.

The track spans 4 minutes and 28 seconds and exemplifies Bhattacharya’s signature style on the chaturangui, a modified 22-string slide guitar of his own design. O Shakuntala! marked a collaborative effort, though specific contributing artists for this track remain undocumented in available sources.
