Spanish Wave

Spanish Wave is a studio album by Indian violinist and composer L. Subramaniam, released in 1983. The record marks a fusion of Carnatic classical music with Western jazz and orchestral elements. The album appeared on the Milestone label as a 12\" vinyl LP with seven original compositions.

Subramaniam composed and performed the violin parts for all tracks. The album integrates traditional South Indian raga structures with jazz harmonies, rhythmic patterns from Western classical music, and electronic instrumentation.
