Raga Marwa is a vinyl album by Indian classical musician Ali Akbar Khan. The release presents a full-length performance of the raga Marwa on the sarod. Connoisseur Society issued the recording in 1968.
Ali Akbar Khan performs both tracks. The first side, titled "Raga Marwa, Part One: Alap," contains the unmetered introductory section of the raga. Khan establishes the melodic framework through slow, meditative phrases that outline the characteristic intervals of Marwa. The second side, "Raga Marwa, Part Two: Gat," introduces rhythmic accompaniment. Khan plays composed and improvised passages in medium and fast tempos over a cycle of sixteen beats.
