Festival d'été de Québec 2001

Festival d’été de Québec 2001 is a live compilation album released on July 15, 2021, under the Bell label. The album captures performances from the 2001 edition of the Festival d’été de Québec, featuring a diverse lineup of artists spanning world music, jazz, folk, and hip-hop traditions. The official release arrived two decades after the original festival event.

The album presents 17 tracks in CD format. Contributing artists include the Corsican polyphonic vocal group I Muvrini, Réunionese musician René Lacaille, American blues and slide guitarist Bob Brozman, and the Belgian folk ensemble Les Batinses. The compilation also features French hip-hop collective Fonky Family, Breton singer and multi-instrumentalist Érik Marchand, jazz guitarist Jacques Pellen, Italian trumpeter Paolo Fresu, and Indian-Canadian vocalist Kiran Ahluwalia.
