Spirit of Youth Music and Dance Festival

Spirit of Youth Music and Dance Festival is a renowned annual festival organised by The Music Academy, Madras, since 1989 in memory of lyricist Ambujam Krishna. Dedicated to young artists aged 18 to 25, the festival presents emerging talents in Carnatic vocal music, instrumental performance, Bharatanatyam, and classical dance. Supported by Sundram Fasteners Limited, the event has introduced many future stars of Indian classical arts to wider audiences.
