Mudra Dance Festival

Mudra Dance Festival is a prestigious annual classical dance festival organised by the National Centre for the Performing Arts to celebrate International Dance Day through curated thematic performances and artistic dialogue. Hosted at the NCPA campus in Mumbai, the festival showcases leading and emerging exponents of Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Kuchipudi, Manipuri, Sattriya, and other Indian classical dance traditions. Known for its concept-driven programming, the festival combines stage performances, workshops, lecture demonstrations, panel discussions, and educational initiatives exploring culture, aesthetics, storytelling, costumes, emotions, and contemporary interpretations of classical dance.
