Vittal Rangan

Vittal Rangan is a Carnatic violinist with a sustained presence in the Indian classical music concert circuit. He is an A-grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan and a disciple of Padmashri Sangita Kalanidhi Kum. A. Kanyakumari and Sri R. R. Keshavamurthy. He has received several recognitions, including the Shanmukhananda Sangeetha Shiromani, the Vani Kala Nipuna, and the Music Academy Chennai’s Best Concert award for three consecutive years. Over a career spanning more than two decades, he has presented over 4,000 concerts in India and internationally, performing with artists across four generations. In addition to performance, he is actively involved in teaching and mentoring students at the performance level.
