Subrata Bhattacharya (also spelled Bhattacharjee) is an Indian classical harmonium player based in Kolkata, widely known as an accompanist in Hindustani classical music. He is particularly associated with providing melodic support for tabla solo recitals and vocal performances, where the harmonium plays a key role in outlining the raga and maintaining musical dialogue.

He has accompanied several noted tabla artists, including Dipmala Bhattacharjee, Arkodeep Das, and Ujjwal Bharati. His repertoire includes traditional raga-based performances—such as presentations in Raag Yaman—as well as participation in devotional and folk-oriented settings, including Shrikhol accompaniment.

Within the classical music community, he is regarded as a sensitive and melodious accompanist, valued for his ability to follow the nuances of soloists while sustaining the raga framework. His work reflects the important supporting role of the harmonium in Indian classical performance practice.
