Biography
Shreyas Nair is an Indian classical dancer trained in Bharatanatyam. He is a performing artist known for his disciplined approach to classical dance and strong stage presence.
He is a disciple of Guru Parshwanath S. Upadhye, Guru Adithya P.V., and Guru Shruti Gopal, under whose guidance he continues his training and performance journey. Shreyas also acknowledges the constant support and blessings of his gurus and parents in shaping his artistic path.
Shreyas Nair has performed at well-known classical platforms, including the Spirit of Youth Festival 2025 at The Music Academy Madras, where he presented a solo Bharatanatyam recital. He has also been part of curated dance productions and festivals, including Medai Margazhi, where he presented his solo dance work “Lahari.” In addition to stage performances, he has conducted and participated in abhinaya workshops, sharing his experience with students and dancers.
As a Bharatanatyam artist, Shreyas Nair focuses on clarity of technique, expressive abhinaya, and respect for classical tradition.
