Shijith N Parvathy

Shijith N Parvathy are an internationally acclaimed Bharatanatyam dance duo based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The duo, consisting of dancers and choreographers Shijith Nambiar and Parvathy Menon, is celebrated for its refined synchrony, expressive storytelling, and spiritually rooted performances. Both artists are alumni of the prestigious Kalakshetra Foundation and have emerged as leading contemporary ambassadors of Bharatanatyam. Their productions, including Kāvyam and Nirvrithi, combine classical movement vocabulary with innovative choreography, lighting, music, and stage design. Alongside performing at major venues such as the The Music Academy and Kamani Auditorium, they actively mentor dancers through workshops, international masterclasses, and their “Sakhi – Sambhāshana” residency initiative dedicated to advanced Bharatanatyam training and artistic dialogue.
