Saketharaman

Saketharaman is an Indian Carnatic vocalist known for his scholarly musicianship, innovative concert presentations, and deep grounding in classical tradition. Trained under Srirangam Krishnamurthy Rao, Savitri Satyamurthy, and later Padma Bhushan Lalgudi Jayaraman, he has performed at major music festivals and sabhas across India and internationally, including the Madras Music Academy, Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival, and LearnQuest Music Conference. A recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Yuva Puraskar, he is widely recognised for his mastery of Ragam-Tanam-Pallavi, thematic concerts, original compositions, and initiatives that promote Carnatic music through education and public outreach, including the Samuditha Foundation and Kala Shiksha.
