Pandurang Pawar

Pandurang Pawar is a distinguished tabla player from Pune, Maharashtra, recognized for his dedication to Hindustani classical music and Indian percussion traditions. He has received training under eminent gurus, which has shaped his strong foundation in rhythmic structure, tonal clarity, and accompaniment aesthetics. Alongside his performance career, he is actively involved in music education, guiding and inspiring young learners to understand and appreciate the art of tabla. Academically, he studied at the University of Pune and attended Uttarpara College. Currently based in Pune, Pandurang Pawar continues to contribute to the classical music community as a performer, educator, and digital creator dedicated to preserving and promoting Indian percussion.
