Niloy Ahsan

Niloy Ahsan is an acclaimed Hindustani classical vocalist and a practitioner of the revered Dagarvani Dhrupad tradition. Trained under Ustad Faiyaz Wasifuddin Dagar and the Gundecha Brothers, he represents a lineage that preserves one of India’s oldest surviving musical forms. His performances are recognised for their expansive alap, refined raga interpretation, and deep philosophical grounding. Alongside Dhrupad, he has studied Khayal, Rabindra Sangeet, and Nazrul Geeti, bringing a broad musical perspective to his artistry. Niloy has performed at major festivals and venues across India, Bangladesh, Russia, and Europe, and has collaborated with internationally renowned musicians.
