Anirudh Sharma

Anirudh Sharma is an Indian tabla player and percussionist known for his work in Hindustani classical music as well as contemporary fusion projects. Based in Hyderabad, he is a student of the Punjab gharana, grounding his practice in a recognised tabla tradition.

He has collaborated with artists across genres, including vocalist Vishal Mishra, electronic musician Mahesh Raghvan, and the Sarod Sisters. He is also frequently associated with the global arts platform IndianRaga, where he has appeared in fusion-oriented digital productions.

While primarily a tabla performer, he also plays the pakhawaj and incorporates elements such as padhant (vocal recitation of bols) and contemporary rhythmic formats sometimes referred to as “tabla trap.” His work includes both traditional repertoire and modern rhythmic presentations.
