About Shreyas Foundation
Shreyas Foundation is an educational institution in Ahmedabad that integrates culture, arts, and experiential learning into everyday life. Inspired by the philosophies of Rabindranath Tagore, Mahatma Gandhi, and Maria Montessori, the campus was envisioned as an “International Village for Children,” where learning happens through direct engagement with nature, culture, and community.
The expansive green campus features a K–12 school, folk and children’s museums, a multi-subject library, science laboratories, sports grounds, artisan spaces, and residential facilities, including Balgram. Alongside academics, Shreyas places strong emphasis on cultural education through music, theater, dance, and traditional practices.
For Indian classical arts, Shreyas offers two important performance venues. Santhagar, the assembly hall, is an airy, naturally lit space with good acoustics and seating for up to 500. It is ideal for concerts, dance recitals, exhibitions, and festivals.
The open-air Shri Rangam Amphitheatre is a landmark cultural space that accommodates up to 2,500 people. With a 33-meter-wide stage, fountains, water features, and a north-facing design, it provides excellent visibility and acoustics, often eliminating the need for heavy amplification. The stage can host over 200 performers, making it suitable for large-scale classical concerts, dance productions, and cultural celebrations.
Together, these venues make Shreyas Foundation a valuable destination for Indian classical music and performing arts, where education and tradition meet in a serene, purpose-built environment.
