Established by JKYog under the guidance of Swami Mukundananda, the temple was inaugurated in July 2017 following an eight-day consecration ceremony attended by community leaders and devotees. Built according to traditional Shilpa Shastra principles, the temple features life-sized deities of Radha and Krishna, along with other Hindu deities including Ram, Sita, Hanuman, and Ganesh.
The temple functions as both a religious and cultural hub, hosting major Hindu festivals such as Janmashtami, Radhastami, Diwali, and Holi. In addition to spiritual activities, it organizes cultural programs like Sanskriti events and yoga sessions, supporting community engagement and preservation of Indian traditions in the United States.
Expanding its role beyond worship, the temple initiated the construction of a Center for Education and Culture in 2020. This facility is designed to support a wide range of activities, including cultural performances, weddings, youth leadership programs, language classes, meditation, and community gatherings, reinforcing the temple’s position as a key venue for cultural and educational events.
