About Howard Assembly Room
Located in the center of Leeds, the Howard Assembly Room is known for welcoming a wide spectrum of live performances. The venue presents music from around the world, including classical, jazz, folk, electronic projects, and contemporary cross-genre work. Audiences have the chance to hear both new voices and internationally recognized artists, with past programs featuring respected names such as Courtney Pine, Cate Le Bon, and the Brodsky Quartet. Over previous seasons, the venue has also hosted notable performers, including Tony Allen, PJ Harvey, Nils Frahm, and members of the Buena Vista Social Club.
The building offers a comfortable and accessible setting for concerts and cultural events. Visitors can also enjoy refreshments nearby at the Kino bar, open Thursday to Saturday from late afternoon into the evening.
