Gomant Vidya Niketan

Gomant Vidya Niketan functions as a major cultural and performance venue in South Goa. Over the decades, it has hosted a wide range of programs, including Hindustani classical music concerts, lecture series, seminars, exhibitions, and language-focused cultural events.

The venue is equipped with multiple performance and meeting spaces designed to support both large-scale and intimate programs. Its primary facilities include an air-conditioned main auditorium with seating for approximately 500 people, a 175-seat amphitheater, and a conference hall accommodating around 150 attendees. A library located on the ground floor supports the institution’s academic and cultural activities.

The main auditorium, known as the Govind Kare Auditorium, is regularly used for classical music concerts and formal cultural programs. Due to its central location in Margao and its long-standing cultural association, Gomant Vidya Niketan continues to be a preferred venue for organizers, artists, and cultural institutions in Goa.
