Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium

Dhanadhanya Auditorium is a premier state-of-the-art performing arts and cultural venue located in Alipore, Kolkata, West Bengal. Owned by the Government of West Bengal, the complex was inaugurated in 2023 and named in honour of renowned poet and playwright Dwijendralal Ray. Designed in the shape of a conch shell, the venue features a 2,000-seat main auditorium, a 540-seat mini auditorium, and a 300-seat open-air stage. The six-floor cultural complex regularly hosts classical music concerts, theatre productions, literary festivals, dance performances, conferences, and public cultural events. Additional facilities include VIP lounges, media spaces, cafeteria zones, convention halls, and large basement parking infrastructure, making it one of eastern India’s most advanced cultural venues.
