Depot 48

Depot48 is an independent music venue located in Greater Kailash II, New Delhi, established in 2014 by sound engineer Girjashanker Vohra and restaurateur Vikas Narula. Designed as a dedicated “listening room,” the space prioritizes original music and live performance experiences, hosting a wide range of genres, including jazz, indie, electronic, and spoken word.

The venue is recognized for its inclusive and community-driven approach, functioning as a safe and welcoming space, particularly for the LGBTQ+ community. Regular events such as “Pink Thursdays” have contributed to its identity as a cultural hub that supports diverse artistic expression, including drag performances, open mics, and experimental showcases.

Architecturally, Depot48 is designed for acoustic precision, featuring studio-grade sound treatment and an intimate performance environment. Beyond live events, it supports independent artists through initiatives like Depot Records, offering recording opportunities and platform-building.
