History
Originally founded as the Madhya Bharat Kala Parishad in 1952, Ustad Alauddin Khan Sangeet Evam Kala Academy was renamed after the formation of Madhya Pradesh in 1956. Inspired by the artistic legacy of Ustad Allauddin Khan, the academy became a major institution for promoting Indian classical music, arts, dance, and theatre.
