The South Asian Classical Arts Foundation is a cultural organisation committed to advancing the rich traditions of South Asian classical arts while creating meaningful opportunities for artists and audiences. Founded with the vision of honouring artistic heritage and empowering musicians, the foundation presents concerts, cultural programs, and collaborative initiatives featuring leading classical performers from across South Asia. Operating as a non-profit platform, it seeks to strengthen connections between artists, patrons, and communities while supporting the long-term sustainability of classical music traditions. Through performances, educational activities, partnerships, and community engagement, the foundation works to expand appreciation for South Asian classical arts and foster cross-cultural understanding.

History

The South Asian Classical Arts Foundation was established under the leadership of Executive Director Billal Samy, whose long-standing involvement in promoting classical music inspired the creation of a dedicated platform for South Asian arts. Building on years of presenting concerts and supporting musicians, the foundation was established to provide greater institutional support for artists and expand access to classical music for wider audiences. Guided by the principles of preservation, promotion, and cultural exchange, the organisation continues to develop programmes that celebrate artistic excellence, encourage collaboration, and contribute to the international growth of South Asian classical arts.
