Hakimpara Nritya Malancha, officially registered as Nritya Malancha Music College, is a renowned cultural institution and classical dance academy located in Siliguri, West Bengal. Led by veteran Kathak exponent Sangita Chaki, the organisation provides structured training in Kathak, Bharatanatyam, contemporary dance, and performing arts. The academy regularly organises cultural festivals, baithaki-style performances, workshops, and collaborative artistic events to support emerging and established performers. It is especially recognised for initiatives such as the Gati Festival and Bhav Tarang performance series.
History
Hakimpara Nritya Malancha has been active in promoting Indian classical dance and cultural education in North Bengal for more than four decades under the guidance of Kathak exponent Sangita Chaki, and has gradually evolved into one of Siliguri’s prominent performing arts institutions.
