The Aashish Khan School of World Music (AKSWM) is a premier music organisation and educational institution founded by legendary sarod maestro Ustad Aashish Khan. Based in Kolkata, the institution is committed to preserving the teachings and artistic legacy of the Maihar Senia Gharana through the traditional Guru-Shishya Parampara. The school offers training in Hindustani vocal music, sarod, sitar, tabla, violin, santoor, and both Indian and Western guitar, providing structured learning opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds.
