Sami Ni

Sami Ni is a Carnatic vocal composition performed by Unnikrishnan as the opening track of the live album Madrasil Margazhi 2007 – The Music Academy Concerts. The album documents performances from the December 2007 music season at The Music Academy in Chennai. Rajalakshmi Audio released the recording in 2008 on compact disc.

The track spans 7 minutes and 19 seconds. Unnikrishnan renders the kriti in the raga Shanmukhapriya, a composition traditionally attributed to Syama Sastri, one of the Trinity of Carnatic music.
