Raga Yaman – Part 1 (Gat - Vilambita Laya - Tin Tala Barhat Anga) is a recorded performance of the Hindustani classical raga Yaman by sitar maestro Vilayat Khan. The track appears as the first side of the 1972 release Raga Yaman. His Master’s Voice issued the recording on a 12-inch vinyl LP.

Vilayat Khan performs the alap, jor, and jhala sections before introducing the vilambit gat in Teentaal (16-beat cycle). The composition unfolds in slow tempo, emphasizing the raga’s characteristic phrases and ornamentations. Khan employs meend, gamak, and krintan techniques to elaborate the melodic structure. The track concludes with a gradual acceleration into the barhat (development) phase, adhering to the traditional vilambit gat format.
