Lalita Gouri: Preetam Saiyan

Kesarbai Kerkar (1892–1977) was an Indian classical vocalist of the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana in the Hindustani tradition. Her 1960s recordings remain foundational to the genre, though precise dates for many sessions are undocumented. In January 2013, Canary Records issued a posthumous compilation titled Kesarbai Kerkar on 12\" vinyl. The release curated archival material without specifying original recording years.

The album includes Lalita Gouri: Preetam Saiyan as track A4. The composition belongs to the khayal form in raga Lalita Gouri, a rare melodic structure associated with late-night performances.
