Arati

Jamuna: River of Joy is a collaborative studio album by German composer and multi-instrumentalist Felix Maria Woschek and Indian classical musician Ustad Sultan Khan. The album released on CD in 2001 under Woschek’s independent label Woschek Spiritual Music.

The recording centers on a fusion of Indian classical traditions with Western ambient and meditative soundscapes. The sole track, Arati, spans 17 minutes and 47 seconds and occupies the first position on the release. The composition integrates Sultan Khan’s sarangi performance with Woschek’s electronic textures and instrumental arrangements.
