Surdas Bhajans is a 1986 studio album by Carnatic and Hindustani vocalist M.S. Subbulakshmi. The album features eight devotional compositions attributed to the 16th-century blind saint-poet Surdas. His Master’s Voice released the recording on a 12\" vinyl format.
Subbulakshmi selected bhajans that emphasize devotion to Krishna, a central theme in Surdas’s poetry. The tracklist includes Prabhuji Tum Bin Kaun Sahai, a prayer seeking divine support, and Nis Din Barsat Nain Hamare, a lyrical depiction of longing through metaphorical rain. Raakho Laaj Hari Tum Meri and Kunjani Kunjani Bajati Murli highlight Krishna’s pastoral leelas, while Akhiyan Hari Darsan Ki Pyasi expresses the soul’s thirst for divine vision.
