Yashaswini Maharaj is a prominent Kathak dancer of Lucknow Gharana and a respected exponent of the classical Indian dance form. As the granddaughter of the legendary Pt. Birju Maharaj, she comes from a prestigious lineage, being the ninth-generation descendant of the revered Kalka Bindadin Maharaj. Yashaswini carries forward her family's rich legacy in Kathak, blending traditional techniques with her own creative expression.
