Pandit Vishwa Prakash is an Indian classical musician recognized for his work as a harmonium accompanist, soloist, composer, and vocalist. Based in the United Kingdom, he is involved in both concert performance and music education, contributing to the presentation of Hindustani classical music.
He is known for providing harmonium accompaniment to leading artists such as Chandra Chakraborty and Sanju Sahai, where his role focuses on melodic support and raga development in vocal and instrumental settings.
As a composer, he has created live scores for silent film screenings, including the BFI restoration of The Light of Asia (1925) and the early Indian film Raja Harishchandra (1913). These projects combine classical music with film presentation.
In the field of education, he serves as a harmonium and vocal tutor at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, where he teaches students of Hindustani music. His work includes classroom teaching and mentoring.
