Biography
Ujjwal Bharati is a respected Indian classical tabla player whose musical foundation was shaped at a very young age. Born into a family deeply connected with Indian classical music, he was naturally immersed in the art form from childhood. This early exposure played a crucial role in developing his understanding of rhythm, discipline, and the traditional values of classical performance.
He began formal training in tabla at the age of five under the guidance of Shri Madon Mahon, receiving rigorous instruction that laid a strong technical and aesthetic base. Over the years, his dedication and consistent practice helped him evolve into a mature performer with clarity of sound, rhythmic control, and an authentic classical approach.
In 1998, Ujjwal Bharati took a significant step in his career by starting his international performances in Europe, marking the beginning of his global artistic journey.
