Srikanto Acharya is a well-known Indian singer, music director, and actor who is famous for his work in Bengali music, especially Rabindra Sangeet (songs written by Rabindranath Tagore) and modern Bengali songs. He was born on 15 August 1960 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. From a young age, he showed great interest in music and later received formal training in classical and Rabindra Sangeet.
Srikanto Acharya started his professional singing career in the 1990s and quickly became popular for his soft and melodious voice.
