Shantanu Moitra

Shantanu Moitra is an acclaimed Indian pianist, score composer, and musician known for his work in the Hindi film industry. He has composed memorable scores for films such as Parineeta (2005), Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005), Lage Raho Munnabhai (2006), and 3 Idiots (2009).

In addition to films, Moitra has worked on private albums including Mann ke Manjeere and Ab ke Saawan, both featuring the vocals of Shubha Mudgal. His talent has been recognised nationally; in 2014, he received the National Film Award for Best Music Direction (Background Score) for the film Na Bangaaru Talli.
