Satya Chowdhury

Satya Chowdhury was a Bengali singer known for performing modern Bengali songs and Nazrul-geeti. He was born on 17 September 1918 in Kolkata, India, and his family originally belonged to Rajshahi in undivided Bengal. Growing up in a culturally rich environment, he developed a deep interest in music from a young age.

During his early years, Satya Chowdhury trained in classical and semi-classical music, which helped him build a strong foundation in singing.
