Biography

Sarang Sambhare is a Hindustani classical harmonium player who has been shaped under the guidance of Padma Shri Pandit Tulsidas Borkar, one of the most respected figures in Indian classical music. His training under such an eminent guru has provided him with a strong grounding in classical accompaniment, sensitivity to raga, and an understanding of the harmonic and melodic role of the harmonium.

Originally from Sangli, Maharashtra, Sarang Sambhare completed his schooling at City High School, Sangli, and later pursued his studies at Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. Alongside his academic pursuits, he has remained actively involved in music, performing as a harmonium accompanist at classical concerts and cultural programs.

He has shared the stage with senior artists, including performances alongside Padma Shri Pandit Vyankatesh Kumar, and has participated in concerts with fellow musicians such as Pandit Sujoy Basu. In recent programs, he has performed as part of ensembles featuring established tabla players and vocalists, contributing to well-rounded classical presentations.
