Sangeeta Agnihotri

Sangita Agnihotri holds a significant place in the musical landscape of Madhya Pradesh as its first female tabla practitioner. She follows the Purab Baaj tabla gharana and was trained under the guidance of her father, Pandit Dinkar Mujumdar, who belongs to the lineage of Ustad Jahangir Khan Saheb. Her learning reflects a strong grounding in traditional tabla technique and repertoire. Sangita is based in Indore, widely known as the clean city of India, where she continues her engagement with Indian classical music through sustained practice and performance.
