Siddharth Haldipur

Siddharth Haldipur’s musical journey reflects a steady evolution from pop performance to film composition. Born into a musically accomplished family, he is the son of renowned composer and violinist Amar Haldipur, whose influence played a significant role in shaping his musical foundation. Siddharth formally entered the music industry in the early 2000s as a member of the pop group A Band of Boys, which enjoyed notable success with albums such as Yeh Bhi Woh Bhi and Gaane Bhi Do Yaaro. As a singer and performer, he gained recognition for his youthful vocal style and stage presence during a time when Indian pop music was gaining national visibility.

After the band disbanded, Siddharth shifted focus toward composition and music direction. In 2009, he made his debut as a film composer with Fruit and Nut, partnering with his brother under the banner Sangeet–Siddharth. The duo gradually built a reputation for crafting melodic yet modern soundtracks, leading to a breakthrough with the film Murder 2. The song “Aa Zara Kareeb Se” became a defining hit, earning them the Big Star Young Entertainer Award for Best Music Composer and firmly establishing their place in mainstream Bollywood.

Over the years, Siddharth Haldipur has contributed music to a wide range of Hindi and Marathi films, television projects, and independent works. His compositions are often noted for their emotional appeal, strong arrangements, and adaptability across genres. Balancing his skills as a singer, instrumentalist, and composer, Siddharth continues to be recognized as a versatile creative force in contemporary Indian film music.
