Sadhana Sargam is a senior Indian vocalist whose musical journey reflects rare longevity, discipline, and stylistic breadth. Born as Sadhana Ghanekar in Dabhol, Maharashtra, she grew up in a deeply musical environment. Her mother, Neela Ghanekar, was a classical singer and teacher who introduced her to music at an early age, nurturing her talent with structured practice and exposure to performance. Sadhana began appearing at music festivals as a child and soon gained national recognition through early recordings and televised performances.

A major turning point in her training came when she received a Central Government scholarship and underwent seven years of rigorous classical training under Pandit Jasraj.
