Biography
S. Krishna (Krishna Sriram) is a Carnatic classical percussionist known for his work on the ghatam, a traditional South Indian clay pot percussion instrument. He was born on May 27, 1993, and began learning music at the age of seven.
He is a disciple of the noted Vidwan V. Suresh, under whom he received structured training in the gurukul tradition. He has also received guidance from the legendary ghatam maestro T. H. Vinayakram.
S. Krishna presented his debut performance (Arangetram) in 2006. Since then, he has been active as a trained Carnatic percussion artist, focusing on ghatam performance.
