Prantar Karmakar

Prantar Karmakar is a professional tabla player working in the Hindustani classical tradition, known for clarity of rhythm, control of tempo, and a thoughtful approach to accompaniment. He performs both as a soloist and as an accompanist for vocal and instrumental music, contributing to traditional concert settings as well as curated recital series.

He has appeared in notable programs such as a tabla recital for the Thursday Evening Ragas series curated by Hindoli Banerjee.
