Mayukh Das

Mayukh Das is a rising santoor player from Kolkata, representing a new generation of Indian classical musicians. He has trained under noted gurus, including Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, Pandit Sandeep Chatterjee, and Shri Chiradip Sarkar, developing a strong grounding in traditional santoor technique and raga presentation.

He has performed at platforms such as Santoor Ashram, Bangla Sangeet Mela, Stars of Tomorrow, and Rajya Yuva Sangeet Sammelan. His achievements include first prizes in the Inter Divisional Railway Competition and Bharat Sanskriti Utsav. He is also a recipient of the CCRTS Scholarship (2023) and the Bengal Excellence Award (2024) for Best Young Artist.

Alongside performing, Mayukh is pursuing a B.A. (Hons) in Santoor at Rabindra Bharati University, reflecting a parallel commitment to academic and musical development. His work shows a balance of tradition, disciplined training, and emerging individuality.
