Biography
Khushi Hegde is a professional Bharatanatyam practitioner working within the Vazhuvoor tradition of the form. Her training is rooted in the guru–shishya parampara under Vid. Sneha Devanandan, with additional guidance from Guru Dr. Suparna Venkatesh, a recipient of the Karnataka Kalashree award.
She marked a formal milestone in her artistic journey with her Rangapravesha on 30 April 2025. In January 2026, she presented a solo Bharatanatyam recital at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bengaluru, in a program supported by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
Her performance activity includes participation in the Lasya classical dance series in Bengaluru and collaborative work such as Blend, a production examining the relationship between Bharatanatyam and Kathak, created and performed alongside Kathak dancer Nikhil Ravi Parmar.
