Dipal Mehta

The artist is an Indian classical flutist trained under Padma Vibhushan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, reflecting a strong grounding in the guru–shishya tradition. He is professionally engaged as a flutist and musician at Vrindaban Gurukul and also serves as the founder and president of Naad Sanhita—Charitable Trust, promoting musical and cultural initiatives. His achievements include major national honours such as the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (1984), Konark Samman (1992), Padma Bhushan (1992), and Yash Bharati Samman (1994). Academically, he studied at Sir J Higher Secondary School, N.M. High School, and Shree Swami Vivekanand College, where he completed a BCA program. He resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and hails from Limbdi.
