Pandit Barun Kumar Pal (1945–2022) was an Indian classical musician known for his work with the Hansa Veena, a modified slide guitar adapted for Hindustani music. Born in Dhaka, he was the son of sitarist Bankim Kumar Pal and trained under Pandit Ravi Shankar.
He is associated with the development and presentation of the Hansa Veena as a concert instrument, contributing to its recognition within Indian classical performance. He was identified as a top-grade artist of All India Radio and performed from a young age, including appearances before national leaders.
