Biography
Anirudh Varma is a contemporary Indian pianist, composer, and producer based in New Delhi. Trained in both Western and Hindustani classical music, he developed a unique musical style that blends Indian ragas with jazz, orchestral, and contemporary sounds. A Grade 8 pianist from ABRSM London and a Performance Studies graduate from Ambedkar University, he founded The Anirudh Varma Collective, a large contemporary Indian classical ensemble. His albums like Perspectives and Sabr gained recognition for reimagining Indian classical music for modern audiences.
